SUMMARY

Primarily focused on Test Automation and is responsible for the overall quality throughout the application development lifecycle by creating automated tests and improving the automation practice on a daily basis. Through the leadership provided by the Systems Team product manager, will partner with the agile development team for overall code quality. Attends and may lead meetings, design reviews, working groups and briefings. Reports issues and problems and recommends solutions. Performs other related duties in line with tasks assignments


Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Mathematics and 15 years of related work experience in a computer science of math field.

Highly Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge and experience with automated test tools such as Selenium suite of tools.

  • Experience with validating web applications across different browsers and platforms.

  • Software automation experience on Selenium using programming languages like Java, C#.

  • Experience in writing automation test cases, executing tests, and reporting defects.

  • Experience with implementing automated testing in agile environment.

  • Extensive web development (CSS, HTML)

  • Database developer background (Oracle/SQL)

  • Java script programming

  • Knowledge and experience in use of automated test tools such as Selenium.

  • Ability to convert manual test procedures to automation.  Requires ability to program/script automated tests steps.

  • Familiar with Agile development processes, Agile roles and ceremonies dealing with Agile.

  • Familiar with Agile Release Train.

  • Experience conducting tests and documenting test findings in Test Reports.

  • Knowledge of client/server based applications in a Windows/Oracle v11 or higher in a replicated streams environment.

  • Experience testing applications for large enterprise systems.

Summary

Aeronautical Information Management Modernization (AIMM) provides Aeronautical Common Services (ACS) as the single trusted access point of Aeronautical Information including Special Activity Airspace, Federal NOTAM System (FNS), and airport configuration data Integration and ingestion of eNational Airspace System Resource (eNASR) and Special Use Airspace (SUA) Management System (SAMS) data through eNASR and SAMS SWIM services. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Mathematics and 5 years of related work experience in a computer science of math field.

  • Working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Operating Systems

  • Knowledge of automated test tools

  • Development and management of XML files and XML transformations for Web Service and JMS testing

  • Knowledge of SQL scripts for Relational Database testing

Highly Desired Skills:​

  • Provide 2nd level engineering support for the Aeronautical Information Modernization Management (AIMM) systems

  • Support system development/testing/integration/deployment activities for AIMM systems

Summary

The candidate should provide expertise in software requirements analysis, design, design reviews, development, software testing, integration, installation, and maintenance of complex computer systems. Experience with software programming in the languages used for NAS and NAS support systems. This includes languages such as C, C++, Java, SQL and scripting utilities. Provides expertise in the development and improvement of software development processes. Minimum supervision.
